Have you ever felt stuck in a rut? Or maybe your life just seems to not have any direction? OR, you just feel so overwhelmed, that you wanna break down into a fit of tears. Long story short: just START. Ok so you’re probably gonna ask, “Roxy, where the heck do I start?” Don’t worry babe, I got you.
I’ve learnt that the key to starting is to just start. And I know that you might literally be like, “What?” but hear me out. By doing just one thing that will help you feel like you’re being productive, or moving closer to a goal, it instantly changes your entire mindset and perspective. It can be something as small as making up your bed or packing the night before to make sure your day runs smoothly.
P.S. don’t forget to follow me at @itsroxyjames on instagram. It’s my only social media, and there’s so much exclusive lifestyle content you don’t wanna miss.
I totally understand and relate to that overwhelming feeling of helplessness and frustration. But I’ve realized that by taking small steps and just starting somewhere, rather than putting things off or trying to do a massive task all at once, made such a difference in my life, that I just had to share. That’s why I came up with my 30 Days to Get Your Life Together (GYLT) Productivity Series.
This series officially launched in June this year. I figured that since it was the 6th month of the year, it meant that half of the year was gone, and I really didn’t want the rest of the year to pass by without feeling some sense of accomplishment. I didn’t not want to be closer to my goals; I didn’t want to feel as if I was wasting my time AND I no longer wanted to feel as if I didn’t know where my time was going.
So for 30 days, I challenged myself everyday to accomplish small manageable tasks, which made a huge difference in my mood, overall productivity and not to mention it made me feel as if I was in control of my life and my time.
Even though I said this was for the month of June, you can take these 30 day daily challenges and use them in any month and any day. Sure you can do it every day for an entire month, but if that doesn’t work in for your lifestyle, you can fit it anywhere that works for you.
Here’s my FREE printable of my 30 day challenge to #GYLT. All you have to do is right click, save to your desktop/phone and print whatever you need.
P.S. this printable is totally free and made for you, but if you would like to support me and the content I am creating, you can follow me @itsroxyjames on Instagram.
You can browse through this calendar, and maybe start small, i.e. you can maybe choose 7 challenges that you would like to do and plan a week to get them done. Just remember that these are just suggestions, and you can use them in your own way to help you feel more productive.
Btw, I have an entire 30 Day Series Playlist that you can check out here, so that you can see exactly what I did, and how I went about these challenges. I share so many things such as decluttering my vanity area, creating a space I love, iPhone productivity hacks and so much more.
The videos share a deeper look into the prompts on the calendar, so if you ever needed more inspiration, you can definitely look at those. For instance, if you wanted to see what day 23 was “do these 5 things every night“, you can click Day 23 in the video series & see what it’s all about.
I hope that you find this helpful in getting your life together and feeling more productive! Feel free to leave me a message, and let me know what you think of it, what challenges you did and how you felt afterwards. Or you can just stop by and say hi. I promise I’m not weird all the time.
xx
