Hey loves!
Hope you’re doing well. I have one of THE nicest posts here for you (at least I think so cause it’s totes travel/wanderlust themed) so let’s dive into it.
NYC is very close to my heart and there’s just so much to do in the city that never sleeps. When I was visiting this year, I really wanted ‘girly’ (yes, I’m one of those) things to do there, but I never really saw anything that caught my eye. So I decided to put together a list of 7 justgirlythings to do based on a personal bucket list that I tackled while I was there.
I did a video version so you can see everything and enjoy all the pretty things, and a post version below where I have all the names of the places and locations etc. so have fun planning!
1. Sprinkles Cupcake ATM
Come on- you know this is the only type of ATM you actually wanna go to and there’s no shame in admitting that! It’s exactly like a regular $$$ ATM except it’s a pretty pink hole in the wall that brightens up the otherwise concrete jungle. You just touch the screen, select your cupcake and 30 secs later, a little door opens and you get your perfectly packaged cupcakes. If only life was this easy right?
P.S. You NEED to try the Vegan Red Velvet one because that’s absolutely swoon-worthy.
Where to find: On the Upper East side of course aka here.
2. Statue of Liberty Cruise
Cruise? Okay fine- it’s more like a mini cruise but nonetheless, an amazing experience since personally I think if you want to experience the full glory of Lady Liberty herself, this is the way to go. On a yacht called the Zephyr we cruised down the river seeing the stunning waterfront views. Honestly, it was like a history lesson but in the most fun way possible.

3. Cupcake Class
Ohhhhemmmmmgeee this has been on my bucket list forever! We found the perfect place called Butterlane Bakery and Cafe (I mean seriously could it get any more lovelier?) and it had a little classroom setting with ingredients laid out at your station. It was honestly one of the best experiences I ever had learning to make and bake a cupcake from scratch. I meannnnn we not about that box life anymore right?
P.S. Full post and review coming soon!
Where to find: here. Use this groupon to get $$$ off.
4. Central Park
Okayyyy I know when you hear ‘Central Park’ you immediately think about picnics and strolls in the sunshine, but did you know that there’s a little zoo? You can pet baby animals, watch a really funny 3D movie and see all the cute little pengeets (aka penguins).
P.S. they are mega super swimmers like WOW.
P.S. 2. definitely go see them for their feeding time cause they legit have no behaviour.
Where to find: here.
5. Ladurée
Macarons are a girl’s best friend. At least they’re mine #sorrynotsorry Every time I visit, I can’t live survive without my macarons from Ladurée because they are THE best. It’s like a taste of Paris in the heart of NYC.
Where to find: here.
6. High Tea
I mean how fancy are we right? You know how when you’re little and you have pretend tea parties with your barbies?? This is like a grown up version but wayyy better. Sitting in The Pierre Hotel sipping tea and nibbling on gourmet sandwiches and desserts would be one of the most luxurious experiences of your life- well at least if you’re like an ordinary gal like me.
P.S. Full post and review coming soon!
Where to find: here. You can use this groupon of a little cha ching off.
7. Berry Picking
Another one off my bucket list! We visited Patty’s Berries and Bunches where strawberries were in season. Sadly I was a bit late for my beloved peonies but I made up for it with their delish homemade lemon basil ice-cream which was TDF. The fields were stunning and picturesque and I legit felt like I was plucked from the real world and placed into a fairytale.

Hope you enjoyed these suggestions and have fun ticking them off your bucket list!
