Happy Earth Day babes!
Makeup is a fun thing for me-not to mention super duper boring since I only wear nudes and mellow looks. But every once in a while, I love just taking it alllllll off. I recently posted about the #WIPEFORWATER movement by Neutrogena so in this post, after testing it out for a full few days, I wanted to give you the final verdict.
P.S. be sure to pledge to save water here!
Tearing open the pack, the first thing that hits you is the most amazing smell of green apples and it’s sooooo fricken good. I feel like I’m running through a field or something. Okay so remember the point of these wipes is that you don’t use water with them [hence the whole #WIPEFORWATER and water conservation shebang].
I gotta say I was a bit hesitant since the thought of removing makeup without water is like whatttt? But I took one for the team you guys.
Okay so here’s the most ahhhmazing thing ever. Wiping my face with the wipes felt like if I was wiping it with water. I know, it sounds so weird but omg if you experience it you will know what I’m saying!! The wipe was sooo moist and I honestly 10000% did not feel the need to use water at all.
P.S. ignore my starry eyed look cause I was trying to figure out how I look with half of my face on haha. Don’t laugh.
My makeup came off without a hitch although I must point out that I do not have on heavy makeup at all so maybe someone who had on a full face of makeup can lemme know what they thought?
While taking off my eye makeup, there was a slight burn but that could probably be because of how sensitive my eyes are [my saline drops don’t leave my side]. But other than that, I loved how moist these wipes were and how easy my makeup came off.
I need to also say that my skin felt soooo moisturized after the wipes and I didn’t feel the need to put on anything after I took off my makeup. I just left my face as is for the rest of the day and I kid you not, it felt so hydrated. I think that’s due to the Peruvian Tara seed bionutrient I talked about.
Be sure to pledge here [it’s free] to help save water. It’s Earth Day so yes, I’m guilt trippin’ ya.
I kid, I kid.
Have you tried these wipes yet? If you did lemme know what you thought!
