I’m the kind of girl who does her nails any and everywhere that I could and that could have it’s ups and downs-mainly downs as you will see in the video tutorial! All you need for this amazing DIY is a picture frame that is 8.5 x 11″ because then you can print pictures that size without having to try to resize it to fit your frame.
[In Trinidad, I got mine for $50.00 at Fine Art]
The reason why I love my nail desk is because it’s glass (since it’s a picture frame) so when things spill on it, it can come off so easily with nail polish remover. I also like the idea of having a frame that is raised like the one I used-just because it looks so chic. I also have to say that I love how girly my side table now looks since my nail desk has graced its presence.
As you can see, I’ve used it as a nail station where I have cotton and nail polishes-and you can also include a nail file so you can use your desk any and everywhere!
Another great option of having a picture frame as your nail desk is the fact that you can change the pictures to fit your mood, style and even décor! My fave was Princess Belle from the Vogue Disney Princess collection that Hayden Williams did. He’s is my favourite artist of all time and I may just have my fan girl moments!
Other looks I played with were a Chanel No. 5 Perfume Bottle Sketch which is very simple but so classy.
And of course, I had to include a Lilly Pulitzer print because I mean (do I even have to explain?).
Here are the prints that I used so feel free to download them if you want-please note that I do not own any of the prints below and I got them all online. I just decided to put them up here so you won’t have to look too far if you wanted them.
Hope you enjoy this DIY-trust me, it’ll change the way you get your nails did.
XO, The Classy It Girl!
