Yummmm recipe time is here again. I haven’t done one in ages but I was talking to my friend and somehow it got to the topic of cooking and then that led to me craving salmon. Salmon is one of the best kinds of fish you can eat thanks to an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids, high protein content and of course my fave- how easy it is to cook.
Alsooo I know I’ve been super MIA all over the place but I think I’m really ready to get back in a gear when it comes to my blog, YouTube and my main channel and personal channel. It’s been almost a year of utter inconsistency but I actually feel in my soul that I’m ready to start again with lots more new content and exciting things. I even started back using a planner again so it’s all baby steps to get my life back on track.

Now let’s get into this ridiculously YUMMMY salmon.

I made a glaze syrup using 4 simple ingredients you probably have in your kitchen right now. That’s how I like making food: simple, few ingredients, healthy but oh so yummy. BTW, that reminds me, I have a totally new outlook on food that I’m putting into practice but that’s a whole other topic so I’ll share it later in another post.
To make things easier and because I’m super lazy when it comes to cleaning up, I lined my baking dish with foil and that makes clean up a breeze.
If you want to be super efficient and save some time, you can prep an entire meal by adding some veggies in your baking pan with your salmon. I added some carrots and mushrooms to the mix and coated them with the remainder of the syrup.
An optional step is to leave everything to marinate because this helps all the good stuff seep into the food and adds so much flavour to it. But no pressure- it tastes just as good without marinating time.
Honestly, you will LOVE this recipe if you’re a fan of salmon like myself.
