I love how much progress I’ve made by eating right and I owe a lot of it to meal planning. When you’re not sure what to eat or you run out of food in the middle of the week, you’ll most likely take the very easy but very unhealthy route aka making a phone call to order a greasy cheese laden pizza with some equally tacky breadsticks, or take a drive for a burger draped in dough and icky fried fries. Orrrr some other bs that would leave you wallowing in regret.
And no one likes that feeling where you’re like effffffff. Why did I just eat that?! Like I swear I can’t bear to eat KFC fries or pizza anymore because my stomach legit revolts and I end up feeling so sickly. So yeah, back to the real post now.
Finding a printable that catered to my needs was the difficult part so I decided to not only make my own, but also share it with you for free. I also did them in 3 different colors- mint green, pink and blue- so you can have fun with your planning.
There’s a part on top where you can put the week that you’re planning for and then a timetable-esque section for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s there that you can write down what you want to eat for the week. Now onto the part that I love most about this printable aka the section below aka your grocery list.
It’s so functional because when you plan out all your meals from the week, you can just add the ingredients that you have to buy below! This takes away the guesswork in wondering WTH you have to get when you go grocery shopping.
And if you’re a more techy person, you can just take a pic of the list or even type it up on your phone. Either way, you’ll know exactly what you need to get instead of dilly dallying around in the grocery and buying some crap you don’t need- like cake mix #TRUESTORY I also love the way the grocery list is sectioned off because it makes it even easier to shop with.
