Hello Loves!
Here is another post dedicated to my faves this week. Let me know any suggestions you have down below!
Ever since my accident in January, I have been drinking this Twinings Lemon & Ginger Tea [I actually have one brewing right now tbh]. I feel like my body associates it with comfort because it warms me up so much and eases my back spasms. Also, the fact that it has lemon & ginger in it- it’s a killer combo for a gentle body detox and who wouldn’t want that?!
I love anything hair related, but I always have the predicament when it comes to masks. I usually take pretty short showers being sans bathtub and all, so the fact that you have to leave a hair mask in for a good 15 minutes for the least [I prefer a solid 30 mins], I don’t know what to do in the shower for so long. Enter this Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze from Lush, which just happens to be a mask that you use on dirty hair. How convenient right?
When I know it’s hair masking time, I slather my hair with it and then go ahead editing, blogging or marking papers. This is super convenient to me since I get to keep it in for about 45 minutes sometimes, giving it good time to de-fluff my hair. Then I just shampoo and condition as per norm and my hair is a million times softer and more manageable- not to mention squeaky clean!
BTW, this mask is perfect for wavy/curly hair where #thestruggleisreal
The Oscars were last Sunday and the one dress that was popping up everywhere [and quite rightly so] was this sparkly, cleavage baring Elie Saab dress on J.Lo. I legit gasped when I first saw it. This honestly has to be the most amazing dress I’ve ever see in a long time [red-carpet wise] and J. Lo wore it to perfection.
Imagine this dress in a wedding dress- without the dramatic cleavage obv #obsessed
I have been asking around for a new series to watch and almost everyone suggested Scandal. This week, I decided to take the leap of faith and now, I. Am. Fricken. Hooked. Olivia Pope is everything. Her confidence-not to mention brilliance is very welcoming in a time where there are rarely any sensible women protagonists in scripted dramas [PLL anyone? Ick]. Can’t wait to see how this show develops!
P.S. If you have any series suggestions, drop them in a comment below!
My nails we beyond ratchet this week so I did them over with Mint Candy Apple & Rock at the Top from Essie. I love the colour combo- even though the MCA looks blue to me. Is something wrong with my eyes?!
If you had any faves this week be sure to leave me a comment.
XO, Roxy!
