It’s only the first week of the year and things are still so exciting and new. I love the feeling of hope and the feeling that everything that you want to do is still very much possible. If you’ve been here a while, (or if you’re new and you don’t know me), I’m a firm believer in writing things down. Hence maybe all the free printables on my blog?! #LOL
But seriously though, research has shown that you actually do accomplish more when you write things down. Maybe because of the obvious fact that you won’t forget by trying to keep it in your head. Honestly, when you tell yourself you’ll remember something- you really won’t. Let’s just all accept that and move on. So weather it be digital, or paper, WRITE IT DOWN.
Now onto goals and resolutions. Although related by the fact that you want to accomplish them, they are slightly different.
A resolution is a firm decision or determination to do or not to do something.
Whereas…
A goal has an observable/measurable outcome. It’s something that you can actively work towards to achieve an end point.
If you want to see my resolutions, you can check this post out. Andddd it also has a free printable in case you find those helpful in your life as well.
Other resolutions I have are:
- get a pap smear (longggggg overdue)
- take more polaroid pics
- daily vitamins
So now onto some of my goals:
1. Grow a herb garden: this has always been a dream of mine but in the last few years, my plants have just been haters. This year though, I bought rosemary & thai basil and I promptly googled everything I need to know about their care. Soooo maybe in June I can share some pictures or my thriving garden?
2. Make more printables: OMG the response to my printables has been nothing short of amazingggg. It just makes me so happy to know that I’m helping you to stay organized (and secretly become planner addicts). I’m starting off with trying to have 1 free printable a week.
3. Be consistent on my Personal Channel: I have 179K on my main channel. But, I really missed having my own channel. I loved the days when I felt motivated to create content by myself for my viewers. I knew in my heart, that it would make me feel happier. I’m not putting a date to this, but whenever it happens, it’ll be amazing.
I do ofc, have other goals and resolutions but I like to keep those personal. Andddd, speaking about personal, let’s get onto the free printables shall we?
I did them on a single page so you can cut them out to fit whatever planner you have. Mine looks so pretty in my new Webster Color Crush. I honestly can’t stop looking at it- which is a good thing because every time I open my planner, it’s like a new sense of motivation.
Make sure you have your goals and resolutions in a place where you can see it all the time. Every time you look at it, feel the burn and the passion to keep going.
I filled out both pages and now, I can always go back and constantly remind myself of my goals, and this really just keeps me driven.
Don’t forget you can scale the printable to make it bigger or smaller, before your print it.
