This week was one HECK of a crazy one especially since it started off with me bashing my head good and proper on Monday morning. Yea, if you missed that one, you can check it out right here where I document my episodes of blacking out. And fear not, today I’ll be getting a very much needed visit to the doctor. MEGA GULP cause I fricken cannot stand doctors or dentists.
Here are 5 of my fave things this week that kinda put me in a good mood.
I literally just watched the live stream of the Lauren Conrad 2015 NYFW debut and now I’m all giddy with excitement. I LOVE Lauren ever since ever. She’s one of my role models and her collection was everything that you would imagine it to be- blush pink and white tones with gentle hints of color and sparkle- not to mention the tulle. It’s a perfect mix of whimsical meets modern day fairy-tale and I’m dyinggg over here. I need one of everything.

Image courtesy InstagramIf you’re in Toronto and you want the full CN Tower experience, then dining at the 360 Restaurant (yes it rotates and no you don’t feel a thing) is a must. Not only is the view absolutely breath-taking, but the food is a perfect compliment to the entire experience.
My advice is to take the prix fixe menu (aka the price is fixed and so are the meal options) and with that, you get a free elevation* which basically means you won’t have to buy a ticket to go up that very long elevator chute #GIVEITTOMEIMWORTHIT

You know how you’re perfectly fine one minute and then you’re just feeling nauseous with a sickening dizzy spell, blacking out and whacking your head into a wall? Yea, pretty much the story of my life. Last night was the third time that happened to me in my life and you would THINK I would go to the doctor and get some blood work done by now. But yea, no. Not me who avoids doctors and dentists like the plague.
The first time I had killer cramps and I blacked out with a glass in my hand, only to wake up finding Paris crossing over me- YES, TOTALLY IGNORNING THE FACT THAT I WAS ON THE FLOOR- and broken glass scattered all over the place. I blamed this episode and my insane headache on the pain of the cramps.
Soooo basically social media is a huge part of my hobby – which is making YouTube videos and blogging- so it’s no wonder that I’m ALWAYS on my iPhone snapchatting, instagramming, tweeting or doing some other related thing.
I realized I barely even take the time to have a normal conversation with my friends, read a book or just go out and do something that doesn’t involve being on my phone or computer. So I decided to practice something new.
Gulp.
I don’t know when exactly when or how I came up with this idea, but it could have been when I realized I bought a huge pile of books I never read, because really, when the eff do I get a chance to read.
P.S. Harry Potter doesn’t count because I ALWAYS have time for Harry.
I have always always been a bookworm and the fact that I don’t get to read my books or even buy new books is really a horrific and traumatic thing. Obviously it doesn’t have to be reading if you’re not a fan of reading- it could be something that you love but just don’t have “the time” to do. So hence I came up with this little idea.
