V-day is officially less than a week from now and I even though I did a pretty intensive DIY Valentine’s Day Decor video in 2014, I couldn’t help myself this year [btw, can we not talk about that video quality?!] Instead, this year, I chose to do some simple DIYs that aren’t over the top and over lovey-dovey. They are still chic and V-day inspired and I think that you’ll love them just as much as I do. I also picked up some cheap little accent pieces that I used so I also show you how I styled them.

Love the fact that these foam hearts are pre-cut! I also saw these glitter ones that you can probably use as well.
Need to sort your jewelry in a cute way? Jazz up a cork board with metallic spray paint- try to avoid white as tempting as it may be since the holes would show up much more. The pushpins are these ones from Kate Spade.
Got this lovely XOXO sign to add a pop of love to my desk. That cupcake was a necklace holder but now, I use it to pop my jewelry in when I’m working.
This DIY was definitely my fave of the bunch. The arrows are so cute I’m lovestruck [see what I did there]. Most of all, this was so E&I and mess free! I just ain’t got time to be sprinkling glitter atm.

It’s a NY and birthdays are in full swing- one of which happens to be mine. IDK but having a birthday in the early months of the year just feels so rushed. It’s like one thing to the next-not to mention the fact that you get to be “older” than the rest of the people who would be the same age as you but who have birthdays towards the end of the year. If that makes sense. But I’m sure people who are born in Jan/Feb know what I mean.

These are perf for your friends- especially those who’re living away from you- because you can fill it up with a ton of little things that they like. It’s like you’re bringing the party to them even if you can’t physically be there.
P.S. for someone you are giving it immediately too, you can put a real cupcake in it! I used cupcake holders and sprinkles in this video because obv I’m not shipping a real cake halfway across the world. You can also put cake mix but in my case I didn’t since these are for the giveaway and I don’t know who would have a problem with what. BTW, I have a love affair with red velvet and confetti these days.

The big day is right around the corner and besides the fact that I’m shaking and quaking…
Actually no. Scratch that. I’m freaking terrified. TBH, I would be totes be That Girl who lies about her age #sorrynotsorry
One thing about me is that I find any excuse to buy myself something. For instance, in 2014, I bought my “Christmas gift” in August followed by my “Birthday Gift” and then followed by some other miscellaneous bs that was for my “New Year’s Gift”. Okay well maybe it’s just my inner shopaholic justifying my actions or maybe taking her revenge on being “controlled”. SMH. Controlling be-aches always get the best of you right?

I had Style for years now but I never managed to get my hands on Beauty. Fact about me: Lauren Conrad is my idol.
2. Chanel Classic Flap Bag
Anything Chanel is worth obsessing over- but a classic [literally] like this one is totally a drool-worthy necessity. Ya dig.
3. Apple iPhone 6 in Gold
Gasp. I know this one is probably a shocker cause anyone who knows me knows I’ve always been an Android girl, but tbh the only reason I loved Android > Apple was because of the screen comparison. What can I say- I like it big [yes, I totally went there]. So when Apple came out with the iPhone 6 with a screen just as comparable to my S3, I was in heaven. I mean the gold? HULLO! It does help that my S3 has a few probs which totally justifies me getting a new phone right?
4. Christian Louboutin So Kate
Need I say more? Let’s just say I’m a huge fan of classic and staple beauty pieces that just happen to be a freaking amazing pair of heels!
5. Tiffany & Co. Solitaire Diamond Earrings
They did say diamonds are a girl’s best friend! I love the minimalist vibe that this gives. It’s so dainty and elegant and definitely something I would invest in one day.
6. Frends x Baublebar Headphones in Layla (Rose Gold)
I have these Sony headphones in white but ever since I found out about Frends headphones, I wanted Layla in al her rose gold perfection. But then when Frends teamed up with Baublebar, I legit got that knee-buckling feeling. I. Need. These. Like. Now.
7. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in LA Pétillante & L’Adorée
I am a huge fan and collector of anything Rouge Allure Velvet from Chanel. Everytime I’m in NYC, I hound them down and these babies are limited edition so it only makes sense I have to get them right?
Okay I know these gifts are super over the top but hey, a girl can dream right? And besides, I’m the girl who works her A-S-S off for everything so these are no exception. #independentlady

This DIY Fondue Bouquet is perf because not only is it easy and inexpensive, but you can have fun melting down your chocolate to make your own strawberry fondue. P.S. you can even decorate with sprinkles like what I did!

I couldn’t help it cause fondue is my weakness so I melted those babies down, sprinkled with sprinkles…and ate them all out.
So the next DIY is all about getting down and cosy with this cuddle kit! All you have to do is get a container or basket and fill it up with anything- like legit anything- from chocolates & champagne to lingerie for all I care. It’s perfect for a sexy night, movie night or a Charmed marathon in my case. Yes, Charmed is my latest obsesh #sorrynotsorry

I think going the extra mile especially on V-day is a must- and making everything personalized is just what you gotta do sometimes. So basically I revamped my ginger ale bottles and I just have to say that it looks so00 much better which leads me to conclude that if you’re putting drinks inside your Cuddle Kit, giving it a little makeover is something you might wanna think about. #JUSTDOIT
As if the bottle wasn’t good enough, I couldn’t resist doing something to the straw. Help me- I can’t help myself.

Okay next DIY is super cute- it’s a countdown to V-day, kinda like an advent calendar. This is so much fun cause you can put anythingggggg in it. Seriously this time. But don’t do like me and buy things that are too big for the envelopes. People please, learn from my mistakes!

If you don’t have a little mailbox like this, you can definitely just use a cute little box like I showed in the video. Fill it with daily love letters, nail polish, candy etc. for your significant other. Wouldn’t that be such fun waking up everyday to something new?!
