A few weeks ago, I went through a “planner” experiment where I didn’t decorate my Ban.do Agenda for a week, and would you believe me if I told you that I just didn’t feel motivated to write anything down? No really, I have like 2 completely blank spreads in the month of February which is anything but normal for me.
So how did I stay organized you might ask? Well, basically I carried around a little notepad wherever I went to keep track of my things to do lists- which btw, grow sporadically throughout the day. Sure, that worked for the most part, but I did wish I had everything in one place. So what’s my point? I just love decorating my planner and without some cute decor here and there, I’m not motivated AT ALL, to plan and be organized.
Once I solidified that realization, I did up some pretty spreads just in time for Valentine’s Day and in the weeks that followed, I haven’t looked back. Planning is just something that I love and can’t get enough of.
With that being said, I decided to add some things to my pretty planning wishlist that I just had to share with you.
- Thinking about trying a new planner and the “Good things are going to happen” Happy Planner one from Create 365 looks so cute right about now. It’s really similar to the Erin Condren planner and has a ton of cute, inspirational pages in it. Also, it has an arc system so every single page in it can easily come out and they also have a ton of inserts that are already punched so you can slip them on to create your own planner.
As if it can’t get better- it’s only $24.99 which is a steal of a deal and as of this post, you can get it for only $13.24 at Jo-Ann’s (still in stock) and $12.48 at Me & My Big Ideas, (out of stock).
2. Ever since I saw this on Paper Panduh I have been drooling. Everything from the size to the colour and pattern is perfect. I could see it fitting in my pencil case so easily.
3. And speaking of pencil cases, Emma (Paper Panduh) also has these cute pouches that are every #planneraddict’s dream. It has so. much. space. for tons of stationery and other little planner supplies. I NEED this is my life but it’s always sold out and I could totally see why.
4. You always gotta have cute pens and these from Shop.Bando seal the deal. And they are black inked so that’s like a hallelujah moment right there.
5. Since I love making my own journal cards and stickers, a rounded corner punch will give it that extra pizzaz.
6. If you watch my snapchat (user: parisandroxy) you’ll know that for the longest time, I have been dyingggggg to get my hands on acrylic stamping blocks. I’ve gotten a few acrylic stamps thanks to my #PlannerAddictBox subscription and had noooo idea on how to use them. The stamping block is sold separately- who knew? Surprisingly my guy was listening on my snapchat and I got this one as one of my birthday gifts. It really was the best gift. But this wishlist was in the works wayyy before so I still included it in here. At least I can scratch one thing off my list now right?
PS: If you have any tips on acrylic stamping, let me know!
7. A laminator may seem a bit over dramatic but believe me- the possibilities are endless. You can make so many things- from dashboards to pretty covers for your planner. And this one is less than $25 dollars so I think it’s such a great buy!
What about you? Do you have anything on your #prettyplanning wishlist?!
