Hey babes and planning lovers!
Today I have a back-to-school/ lifestyle video featuring some DIYs as well as free printables that you could download to help you stay organized.
P.S. If you make anything be sure to tag me in it on twitter or instagram!
1. WRITE IT DOWN
First HUGE tip in staying organized is having a planner. It doesn’t matter if it’s an electronic one for you tech-savvy babes or an old fashioned handwritten one. I personally am a writer at heart and a visual tactile person. There’s no way in life that I could get anything through my head unless I write it down. This planner I made for school is so easy and inexpensive so that if you can’t get your hands on a trendy one, you can make and customize your own!
I used a little notebook I liked and mod-podged some pretty floral scrapbook paper onto it. Then I took a label from a pack I got at the Target Dollar Spot and wrote “Things to Do” on it. Feel free to change that up to suit what you’re about.
Inside I organized it into three sections so I can easily see what needs to be done and there’s some method to the madness that is school.
2. Use a Checklist
In the haste of rushing down assignments and studying for finals, you sometimes forget important things like prepping your lunch and packing your assignment. I made a chalkboard reminder with a little checklist as a gentle reminder. That way you’ll always be aware of what you still gotta do and you’ll never have to go to school feeling flustered, wondering WTH you put your assignment.
My chalkboard was from the Target DS and these were the makers I used.
If you don’t have a chalkboard, no worries. You can download the chalkboard inspired printable that I designed which is more or less a replica of my handmade one- sans the bad writing ofc.
You can put it into a picture frame and then use a whiteboard/chalkboard marker to tick off the things you completed.

3. Use a calendar
This provides an overview of the month. Seeing your schedule laid out in front of you in its entirety will inspire you to get moving! Sometimes you can lose track of time so having everything at-a-glace would make your realize you actually don’t have those two weeks to do that assignment…
I always struggled with finding a pretty calendar so I created my own and decided to share them with you. I have months August-December 2015 available for free download.

4. Meal Planning
I don’t even need to stress the importance of this! Honestly, it has helped me lose so much weight and I’m more than thrilled with the mega improvement I see with my bod.
P.S. I also made them in 3 cute colors so you can have fun planning!
