Since I’ve started trying to get in all my meals a day and not skip meals like I’m famous for, I’ve been trying to come up with creative ways to want to eat breakfast. I personally love the idea of having fruits in the morning. It’s clean, fresh and delicious. Fruits and yogurt have always been something that was quick and easy to reach for, but I wanted to amp it up a notch. I bought matcha a few months ago and never used it so I was like hey, let’s add some matcha to this yogurt bowl and see what happens.
Turns out, I pretty much love it! The matcha barely even changes the taste or texture of yogurt but it definitely pumps up the goodness in your breakfast.

Why is matcha one of the new “it” foods?
Matcha is basically green tea powder and it’s long been known to detoxify and burn calories – perfect for weight loss!!! It also helps to boost memory and concentration which btw, makes it a much better alternative to drinking coffee in school. Need more info? Check here.

The best part about a yogurt bowl is that you can add whatever the heck you want to it so whatever fruits are in season, definitely load them into this! Mangoes are my FAVE so I can’t wait to make a yummy mango-matcha-yogurt bowl.
It also helps if you prep your fruits the night before or just have a bowl of fruits in your fridge so you can toss them into your bowl. Sooooo, what fruit combinations would you use for this yummy & healthy 5 min matcha yogurt bowl?!
