I’ve used chalkboard markers a ton in the past and these ones from Chalkola are one of the best ones I’ve tried and they can be bought on Amazon US or Amazon UK! They are ridiculously pigmented and the neon colors just pop on every nonporous surface you write on like glass, whiteboards, chalkboards and acrylic. It even comes in a plastic case that you can store them in.
*inserts Hallelujah chorus*
They come in a pack of 10 and the price is really unbeatable- especially since I found it so hard to buy a pack of 5 Recollection chalkboard markers for about $15 bucks. With Chalkola, I got a pack of 10 sick colours (there’s a brown!!) including a classic white which is a MUST in any set of chalkboard markers.
Chalkboard markers are >>>>>>>>> better than using chalk because you know how the dust can get- not to mention the mess it makes on your hands! If you’ve been living in the chalk-age, let me introduce you to the modern world aka chalk markers.
I do love using chalkboard markers on a whiteboard but TBH, I can’t help but swoon over the vintage vibe of a chalkboard- sans the mess obv.
I made this chalkboard serving tray [just paint a slab of wood in chalkboard paint/spray paint] that’s perfect for snacking or a wine and cheese platter. Don’t you just love the little arrows?!
Let’s face it- the fridge is a place where you frequently visit and there ain’t no shame in that game. I love these fridge magnets that are whiteboards and that means I could write all my lists on them and see them every.time.I.open.the.fridge. I mean how’s that for productivity?!
Another way to write your to-do lists instead of using a scrap load of paper is a simple DIY picture frame to do list. All you need is a picture frame and some scrapbook paper if you fancy a prettier background. The glass provides a perfect surface for writing your many lists and the Chalkola markers just pop like no other.
I also love little chalkboard signs for organizing my herb garden. You can also make a full blown chalkboard pot which I show you in this video, but if not, you can use palette sticks painted with chalkboard paint or chalkboard spray paint. I got the little cute sign from the Target dollar spot section.
Since these markers are great for acrylic and glass, they are perfect for organizing your kitchen ware and food.
Anddd, since chalkboard markers aren’t permanent (they come off with a wet cloth) you can easily change up the names if you have too.
These markers are obv especially fun if you have little kids running around the house cause they will just loveee them and you won’t have to worry about the mess or the sneezing LOL.
