Last year I had a pawty for my spicy, tuxedo rescue cat Coco, and this year, she turned 2! Funny story- I ended up adopting another cat last year and tbh, it was something I never thought I would do but I am so happy I did. I guess they were right- two cats really are better than one! Lola, my gentle blue-grey cat- turned 1 so I ended up doing a joint pawty for them.
PS: they do look a tag grumpy in this picture but I assure you they are absolutely lovely. Let’s just say that taking pictures with two cats is easier said than done.
First up- can you believe I DIYed this cake? I bought a plain vanilla cake and added those little inexpensive embellishments and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out- not to mention the fact it saved me so much money. This is definitely something I would always be doing moving forward because I can get so creative.
My cats are illustrated and I printed and cut around it, stuck it to a lollipop stick (you can also use a toothpick) and stuck it into the cake. Ugh-they looked so adorable on the front!
See anything you like? No worries- I got you! Shop the post at the end.
The cake stand was another little DIY- just a pink pot I had which worked perfectly.
SHOP THE POST:
- pink balls
- happy birthday banner
