Hellooooo loves!
Could you believe that #MAKEITINMAY is almost over? How crazy is that right? I have 2 more fun DIYs that would be coming your way next week and I can’t wait to share them with you! So today’s video is a planner video since I’ve seen comments in the past asking how to transform a notebook into a planner so that’s exactly what I did. I took an ordinary notebook and made it into a fun little planner and I love it so much that I’m tempted for it to be my summer planner when I go away.
Don’t forget if you made any of these DIYs be sure to tweet me or instagram me with the #MAKEITINMAY so I can see what you been up too!
P.S. All the images used were from this ahhhmazing website called GraphicStock. These have thousands of royalty free graphics that you can use for projects and planning like what I did! Anddd they have a free 7-day trial* you can sign up for where you can download lots of graphics for future use. How fun is that right? So I pretty much went graphic crazy and you can tell!
This planner was made from a spiral notebook I bought that the bookstore. The notebook was orange so I used an image that would match. As you can see it looks as if the cover was there longgg days.
You can print the image on regular computer paper [cause it’s easier to stick] and then modpodge it to your notebook like you see in the video. I used the gloss modpodge so my planner had a pretty gloss to it!
Then I separated my planner into 4 sections using washi tape, so that each page has 2 days. Then I added fun little bullet points and water & gym checklists for each day. This does not take long at all and you can set up your planner 7 days at a time and have fun choosing themes and matching journal cards and stickers.
BTW, I am OBSESSED with pugs.
P.S.2. Click here to see how I made the stickers!
I used firmer paper [cardstock] to print an image for the pocket.
Isn’t this owl image the cutest thing?! BTW, all the journal cards were printed on cardstock to make them firm.
My pretty in pink layout!
Have fun making your DIY planner! It’s so much fun and be warned: pretty addictive!
