Hello loves!
So the last video for #MAKEITINMAY was up earlier this week- how exciting and bittersweet. At least now I could pretend to take an actual vacation now. Or not. This DIY is one of my absolute faves because it’s a scrapbook that you can use for your summer travels and adventures or if you just want to make memories. I made one for Toronto and one for NYC which is where I would be traveling this summer.
P.S. If you make anything be sure to tweet me or instagram me with the #MAKEITINMAY so I can see what you’ve been up too!
Making this scrapbook was so much fun and not to mention so very inexpensive and it honestly takes so little time. Check out the video for step-by-step guidelines and have fun making them.
I like to cut 25 computer pages in half so I end up with 50 pages in my scrapbook. For the cover of the book, I highly recommend cardstock paper or even scrapbook paper, since these are a litter harder than regular computer paper and would make for amazing covers.
I googled images for wanderlust and travel, and for a fun touch, I looked for pictures that had places from the cities I’m going to visit. You can also add the city’s name to a picture like what I did for the Toronto pic.
Be sure you play around with the images on your scrapbook and you’re happy with the position before you stick them to the cover because it would be really hard to change it once you glue them down!
Maybe I’m kinda-sorta-most-likely obsessed with how these turned out! You can stick pictures, ticket stubs and other fun memorabilia from your adventures.
Have fun!
